Camping at Rush

For Labor Day we went down to the "Ranch!" The Ranch is my sister-in-laws families cattle ranch. This amazing ranch is in the beautiful town of Alton. Wow! Me and Brady know where we want to retire. We stayed at a gorgeous little spot called Rush! We were only there three days but we did all kinds of fun things!

We were able to go on a few horse rides! On our first ride we headed up a trail to look out at the "pinks." It was really fun, it had rained the night before so the trail was slick, which made it a bit more exciting. We actually had a few horses slide and fall on the trail down. Thankfully no one was hurt and it wasn't to bad. It was a beautiful ride and the "pinks" were breath taking. Our nephews are so darn cute, they are all cowboy. Jaxon is such a good little rider. He just takes off on his own and does great. All of them do!

We had shooting contests! No! I did not win! I think Brandon and Brady took first. I was really counting on Phoenix or Caroline to take it for us girls! They are really to nice losing just to make the boys feel good! Lol!!

Seriously this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! We took the dogs out in a meadow to take some pictures of them. Anytime a 4 wheeler would start, especially when Brady starts them, the little boys were all ways willing to go for a ride. So when we got out there Drew and Kade were with us! They were a great help they made the dogs sit and "smile." The dogs are cute but the boys a lot cuter! And boy are they funny!

Saturday night we were lucky enough to go up and look for big deer, since all of Caroline's brothers hunters had already killed! Now when Brady said big I didn't realize how big. We saw three huge ones right off, although they were little for this ranch! "Little" I don't know how I will be able to go home and hunt in our central area! I hadn't seen anything that big in real life, it kind of scared me. I could hardly get the words out to tell Brad to stop! At the end of the night we saw a huge one a ways off! It was funny because there were like fifty of us staring and going crazy! I couldn't help myself I had to take a picture!

We have such a great FAMILY! We just love everyone! I couldn't ask to marry into a better family! There was a few people missing and we wished they could have been there! We really missed Shari's funny personality and crazy stories! She is a riot! We had a blast!

After going to the bear cave we decided it was time for the "zip line!" We were nice enough to let Blaine try it first to make sure it was safe. Brandon said " since this is your families you better go first!" It was so funny Blaine called out a yell, jumped really high, then landed flat on the rock! I thought for sure he broke his tail bone! It was bad but we all couldn't help but laugh! It was really funny! We are glad you are ok, Blaine. And thanks for teaching us we need to inch down the rock then take off!

Watching everyone go down was really entertaining! Between Sweety (Aunt Shauna) and Phoenix I don't know who was more terrified and pulled the best scared faces! They both ended up loving it! Phoenix rode a few times! Jaxon and Drew even took a ride down the zip line! They said the zip line would get us going at least thirty miles an hour! Sweet!

Over all this was the best Labor Day Ever! It was incredible! Blaine and Caroline did such a great job! I know it was a lot of work getting all the horses and 4 wheelers for us, not to mention baby sitting all of us and making sure we were having a good time! As anyone can see we had the time of our lives. We even thought of calling in sick to work! jk Thank You to Caroline's Mom and Dad for letting us stay at Rush and letting us shower before church on Sunday! And Thanks to Wade and the guys for letting us go look at the deer! Well Blaine, Car, and the Boys! It was a Riot! Thanks a bunch! We sure Love ya!
