So Brady has had a week break in between semesters at school!
He has been telling me he really wants some chickens!
I have been a bit hesitant because are yard isn't huge and they stink!
So I told him fine, if you have time after you finish putting trees and stuff in the yard
you can build a chicken coop!
Honestly I didn't think he would get all the landscaping done in a week,
but he did. In just two days! (Thanks Landon)
We have the best neighbors. Brady and Mark are always doing projects together.
It was funny to see how excited they were!
The worked hard in the hot sun!
Here they are! Five beauties! We should get an egg a day! That's 35 eggs a week!
Sweet, because Brady loves eggs! He will eat 10 eggs at a time!
Brady just loves eggs! He would eat them every meal, everyday!
I do think they are pretty cute! We had a bunch of neighbor kids over helping with
suggestions for names!
Con, Betsy, Hot Clo, Chipper, Big Red, Dinner, Lunch, Nuggets, Mcdonalds......
We will see about the names... I am going to feel bad if I eat one that we've named!
So here begins our adventure with chickens!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love your chicken pics! We ran into Brady last Saturday at Home Depot--he said he was super excited about his chicken coop; but more importantly EGGS! haha. That is way cool. I bet Chenoa and Tristan would LOVE to see them (me too.) heehee. We'll have to get together before it starts getting cold!!:( Glad you guys are doing well!!
